Privacy Policy

ConsignTracker is designed to help users track consignment inventory, store locations, item photos, sales, payouts, notes, and related business records. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information You Add to the App

ConsignTracker may store the information you choose to enter, including item names, descriptions, SKUs, categories, tags, prices, quantities, item status, store locations, sale history, payout records, notes, and item images.

This information is used to provide the app’s inventory tracking, search, reporting, export, sync, and item management features.

Photos and Images

If you add photos from your camera, photo library, or a URL, those images are used to display and manage your inventory inside ConsignTracker. Images may be saved locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, inventory records and image references may also sync through your private iCloud account.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud sync is enabled, ConsignTracker uses Apple iCloud services to sync supported inventory data across devices signed in to your Apple ID. iCloud sync is separate from normal device iCloud Backup and is handled through Apple’s iCloud infrastructure.

You can turn iCloud sync on or off in the app’s settings.

Subscriptions and Payments

If ConsignTracker offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. ConsignTracker does not receive or store your full payment card details.

AI and Analysis Features

If you use optional AI, image comparison, or analysis features, the information you choose to submit may be used to generate the requested response or comparison. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed for that feature.

Data Exports

ConsignTracker may allow you to export inventory data for spreadsheets or export image references. Exports are created only when you choose to use those features. You are responsible for where you save or share exported files.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. ConsignTracker may share information only as needed to provide app features, comply with legal requirements, process App Store purchases through Apple, or support services you choose to use, such as iCloud sync.

Data Retention and Deletion

Inventory information remains in the app until you edit, export, delete, or erase it. If iCloud sync is enabled, deleting data from the app may also affect synced copies associated with your iCloud account.

Children’s Privacy

ConsignTracker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
