Landscape Converter ("the App") is developed and operated by David ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Landscape Converter is a privacy-first app. All video processing happens entirely on your device. We do not operate any servers, do not collect personal information, and do not transmit your data anywhere.

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Personal information of any kind
Account data (the App requires no account or sign-in)
Video or media content you process with the App
Location data
Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers
Advertising identifiers

On-Device Processing Only

All video conversion, editing, and export operations are performed locally on your device. Your videos and images never leave your device as part of the App's operation.

Permissions We Request

The App requests the following iOS permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

Photo Library (Read Access): Required to allow you to select videos and images from your camera roll for conversion. We only access files you explicitly select.
Photo Library (Add/Write Access): Required to save your converted landscape video to your camera roll when you choose to export.

These permissions are used exclusively on-device. We never access your photo library for any purpose other than the specific file you select or saving the output you request.

Third-Party Services

Landscape Converter does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. The App uses only Apple's native iOS frameworks (AVFoundation, Photos, CoreImage) for all media processing.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information in accordance with their own privacy policy: Apple Privacy Policy.

Data Storage and Security

Because we do not collect any data, there is no data stored on our servers. All App preferences (such as your last-used blur and brightness settings) are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults) and never leave your device.

Children's Privacy

Landscape Converter does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The App is safe for all ages from a data privacy standpoint.

Your Rights

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our end. All data associated with the App (local preferences) can be cleared by deleting the App from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
